I put it side by side with two other staples I love. Against I Need a Warm, the Tan palette is noticeably less warm in undertone — that one definitely leans warmer, though on my complexion it sometimes reads neutral anyway.

The formula itself is thick and cushiony without being overly tacky or sticky. It feels lush on the lips, and the shades are genuinely beautiful for both bare-faced days and full makeup looks.
I also want to flag her Lip Pencils as seriously underrated. They’re creamy, glide on smoothly, and once they set they last all day. Paired with the Hy-Gloss on top, you get a lip look that survives airport coffee and hotel room dryness.
New Hy-Blush Shades
Two new Hy-Blush Duos arrived: Lush Lila is a pretty unique lilac combination, while Nude Muse is the most perfect nude pairing I’ve seen from this line. Each duo pairs a cream highlighter with a cream blush.
Honest note on longevity: these are dewy and very creamy, so they don’t last as well in hot or humid conditions. I can extend wear by setting with powder — fine for a dinner out or date night. But if you live somewhere humid, expect them to look extra glowing within a few hours.

Every shade in the Tan palette performs well, and I’ve used all of them during my month of testing. It’s a solid win for anyone who wants one reliable neutral palette that works from morning meeting to evening drinks — and fits comfortably in a carry-on.
